Energy Economist (Consultant/Senior Consultant)

Chi Square Economics is partnering with a leading economics consultancy which is looking for an economist/ senior economist to join its growing economic advisory team in London. They have offices based across Europe and the US and are looking for passionate economists in the competition and regulation space to work on cases in the energy and environmental space.

If you’re an economist already in London, or in commutable distance, this could be the perfect move for you.

Role

You will be a key member of the economics team working on predominantly microeconomics projects with a focus on energy and environmental competition and regulation cases. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of leading clients and colleagues in this space. You’ll also be part of an inclusive team that are experts in their field and motivated to remain the ‘go-to’ consultancy.

To be eligible for this role, you must have

• At least a masters’ degree or PhD in Economics
• Extensive experience in a regulator, consultancy, or industry specific sector
• Prior experience working on competition and/or regulation cases
• Experience developing and analysing price reviews
• Can speak another language (desirable)
• Right to work in the UK
