We are partnering with a global consulting firm renowned for its expertise in handling complex antitrust and competition issues. As they continue to expand the practice, they are seeking a seasoned economist to help grow the antitrust and competition function.
This is an exceptional opportunity to collaborate with a select team of respected and successful partners and academics. You will leverage the firm’s established reputation while driving market expansion, building a client base, and enhancing the firm’s presence in the competition space.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and expand a network of clients, securing high-profile antitrust, competition, or merger cases across multiple jurisdictions
- Lead economic analysis in complex competition matters, including merger reviews, antitrust litigation, market investigations, and regulatory proceedings
- Provide expert testimony and strategic economic insights in cases involving competition policy, market definition, damages estimation, and regulatory assessments
- Oversee large, multi-jurisdictional projects, managing teams of economists and consultants while working closely with legal counsel and regulators
- Drive business development by identifying market opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to the firm’s strategic growth
Key Skills
- MBA or Ph.D. in Economics
- Extensive experience providing testimony and litigation support in antitrust and competition cases
- Proven track record in managing teams and leading large-scale projects
- A book of business valued around $1 million expected in the first year, or demonstrated ability to develop one
