Technical QA Engineer

A world-leading choice-based mobile gaming company, is looking for a Technical QA Engineer to join its expanding team!

As the Technical QA, you will make sure its products meet the highest quality of standards. You will test and check that its games are running properly, identify any technical glitches, and work hand-in-hand with its development teams to address them.

Responsibilities

• Test and verify the functionality of our games
• Identify and report technical issues and bugs, using our internal tracking processes
• Work closely with developers to resolve technical issues and ensure the stability, quality and optimisation of our games
• Develop and implement test plans and procedures, and ensure adherence to testing standards
• Collaborate with game designers and developers to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for our players
• Communicate test results and status to Producers, our Product Director and the Senior Management team

Requirements

• Extensive of experience in mobile game testing
• Strong technical background, with experience in mobile game development tools and technologies
• Experience with bug tracking software and processes, and test automation tools
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies and standards
• Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Javascript and Python (Bonus not essential)
