A boutique economics consultancy is searching for an economist to join its competition practice focusing on mergers, damages and disputes cases in Zurich. The company is a leading consultancy in competition economics matters and has multiple offices across Europe including Germany, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, The Netherlands, and London.  

The competition economics team in Zurich is rapidly growing and the team is looking for someone specialised in these fields to work across multiple European projects, manage client relationships, and to develop their technical skills.  

The successful candidate will be an economist trained and interested in competition economics across several industries. They have a range of skill-sets in the team, including competition economists, econometricians, litigation experts and behavioural economists. 

Key Benefits as a competition economist:

  • Working across a broad range of areas within competition including antitrust, mergers and state aid cases

Required skils:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working on high level economic analysis in the competition space    
  • Experience in writing reports for clients  
  • Master’s degree in Economics      
  • Knowledge of STATA or R   
  • Fluent/Native Swiss-German speaker
