A specialist advisory firm is seeking an experienced professional to join its disputes-focused practice in the UAE. The role involves working on a broad range of advisory and contentious matters, including forensic analysis, financial investigations, valuation, and damages-related work, often within complex, cross-border contexts.
Role
The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of analytical and investigatory work across disputes and advisory engagements. This position requires strong quantitative and problem-solving skills, sound commercial judgement, and the ability to communicate findings clearly while working collaboratively with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed financial, accounting, economic and valuation analyses on dispute and advisory engagements.
- Conduct forensic investigations, develop financial models and interpret transactional data.
- Prepare, draft and contribute to technical sections of reports and presentations.
- Present findings and insights to senior stakeholders, clients and internal teams.
- Support business development activities and assist with networking events and proposal preparation.
- Mentor and support junior colleagues, contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Key Skills
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in accounting, finance, economics, business or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification (e.g. CPA, CFA, CFE or equivalent) desirable.
- Proven experience in forensic accounting, dispute consulting, valuations, audit or related advisory services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to engage effectively with clients and senior stakeholders.
- Commercial acumen and ability to work effectively in a dynamic and cross-cultural environment.
- Arabian language skills (Arabic) advantageous but not essential.
- Willingness to travel within the GCC and internationally as required.
