As a Data Science Manager, you’ll find yourself right in the heart of the action, collaborating directly with federal clients to develop innovative strategies and build cutting-edge AI tools. Whether that is delving into NLP, tackling complex challenges in computer vision, time series analysis, preventative maintenance or signal processing, you will be at the forefront of technological advancement.

The Data Science Manager will
- Employ cutting-edge techniques in AI and machine learning, leveraging GANs, CNNs, RNNs, LSTMs, BERT, and other models to address complex challenges
- Establish thought leadership in AI by crafting white papers, presentations, executive briefings, reports, and other materials to bolster AI solutions and services
- Provide high-level guidance to federal clients on AI strategy and development, autonomously navigating agency needs, conducting exploratory data analysis, constructing and validating models, and deploying solutions across on-premises and cloud environments
- Serve as a subject matter expert for GPS clients and the global AI partner ecosystem
- Innovate and refine processes and data systems for repeatability and scalability, effectively addressing technical and deployment hurdles
- Uphold data science best practices, staying current on emerging methodologies, technologies, industry trends, and open-source packages
- Collaborate seamlessly with fellow scientists, data engineers, federal account managers, and leadership to ensure the successful delivery of projects
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing AI methods to tackle real-world problems
- Demonstrating expertise through engaging presentations and materials
- Guiding clients on AI strategy and implementation
- Acting as a key resource for AI knowledge within the team and the broader community
- Contributing to the development of scalable systems and processes
Requirements
- A STEM degree is preferred
- Extensive experience in the field of AI and machine learning
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and related tools
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and deployment technologies is advantageous
- Eligibility for government security clearance is a must
Bonus Points
- Experience with cloud deployment, particularly AWS SageMaker, is highly valued
- Strong problem-solving skills and a knack for troubleshooting
- Existing government security clearance is a definite plus!!
