Role
- Setting up data trials of alternative datasets for the wider team.
- Publish datasets using Databricks & Dremio.
- Perform data analysis using Python, SQL, Tableau and Jupyter.
- Collaborating with colleagues and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Produce dashboards &v visualisations.
- Continuously learning new technologies and developing your technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of complex transport economics and advisory projects from inception through to completion.
- Provide expert advice on areas including economic regulation, transport policy, competition, market design, infrastructure investment and decarbonisation.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across government, regulators, transport operators and investors.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through proposals, bids and strategic client engagement.
- Represent the business through thought leadership, industry events and publications.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Ensure the highest standards of analytical quality across multiple client engagements.
Key Skills
- A first-class degree (predicted or achieved) in Mathematics, Applied Economics, AI, Financial Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline, ideally from a Russell Group university (or international equivalent).
- Strong programming skills with recent experience in Python, Excel, and SQL.
- A genuine passion for data analysis and emerging technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work collaboratively with both colleagues and clients.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the initiative to take ownership, embrace challenges, and continuously improve.
