As the Head of Data Science, you will

• Lead a team of data scientists and be responsible for building and managing the data science function
• Develop and implement the company’s data science strategy, leveraging machine learning, big data, and AI to inform economic decisions
• Collaborate with other departments to identify new opportunities and uses for data science
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data science and AI to ensure the company is using the most effective techniques
• Use your knowledge of econometrics and statistics to provide data-led insight to clients

The ideal candidate will have

• A PhD or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as statistics, econometrics, mathematics, or computer science
• A proven track record of leading data science teams in an economic consultancy or similar organisation
• Strong knowledge of statistics, analytics, econometrics or machine learning
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
