A boutique economics consultancy is searching for a senior economist to join its competition practice focusing on cartel damages cases in Germany. The company is a world leading consultancy in competition economics matters and has multiple offices across Europe including the UK, France, Italy, The Netherlands, and Belgium. The competition economics team in Germany is rapidly growing and the team is looking for someone to lead projects, manage clients and to develop other business areas. The preference is for you to be based in Berlin, but there is flexibility to work in any other of its European offices if you are German speaking.
As a senior economist in the team, the partners will give you a lot of responsibility on the day-to-day management of cartel damages cases, however if you would like to split your time across other fields such mergers and state aid there is the flexibility to do so. There is a real opportunity here to make a huge impact at a senior level, to take ownership of key accounts, and to develop your personal network into a revenue generating function.
This is a unique challenge for someone who is interested in becoming a pivotal member of a world-leading competition economics team, and growing your personal brand in the German markets. Get in touch to discuss further!
