Valuations Director

Director | Non-Contentious Valuations | London

We are partnering with an established professional services firm looking to appoint a Director into its growing Valuations practice in London.

This is an opportunity for an experienced valuation professional to take on a leadership role, overseeing engagements, building key relationships and driving the continued growth of an established practice. The role offers significant client exposure, responsibility developing a team whilst growing your own portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver non-contentious business, share and asset valuations across a range of sectors.
• Advise on tax valuations, employee share schemes and employee ownership trusts.
• Undertake commercial and financial reporting valuations, including share transactions, business restructuring, purchase price allocations and impairment reviews.
• Prepare and review robust valuation models and reports, ensuring high technical standards.
• Manage client engagements from initial instruction through to completion, building strong relationships with business owners and professional advisers.
• Support business development through networking, proposals and identifying new opportunities.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, collaborating with wider Advisory teams to deliver integrated client solutions.

Requirements

• Experience in business valuations within a professional services or specialist advisory firm.
• Strong exposure to non-contentious valuations.
• Experience across tax valuations, financial reporting and commercial share valuations.
• Understanding of share buybacks, probate and shareholder-related matters.
• ACA, ACCA, CTA, CFA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong client management and report-writing capabilities.
• Experience managing engagements and developing junior professionals.
• Commercially minded, with an appetite to develop relationships and generate new business.
